Limited Warranty

Thank you for selecting a North Bridge instrument. North Bridge distributes its instruments through a very exclusive network of authorized dealers.

North Bridge suggests that you read the Limited Warranty thoroughly, and invites you to contact your authorized North Bridge dealer if you have any questions.

COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS

North Bridge Winds (“North Bridge”), a division of Anthem Musical Instruments, Inc., warrants that its instruments, when purchased directly through an authorized North Bridge dealer, will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, subject to the limitations contained in this warranty. This warranty is restricted to the original owner and is not transferable.

This warranty does not cover damage to your instrument caused by normal use and wear and tear, including surface deterioration caused by atmospheric conditions or perspiration acids or extremes in temperature or humidity, oxidation or tarnishing of silver or silver plated parts, and instrument adjustments, including but not limited to, pad shimming, adjustment of keys, adjustments of key motion, including binding, joint fittings, pads, springs or felts.

In addition, this warranty does not cover any instrument that has been purchased from an unauthorized dealer, or upon which unauthorized repair or service has been performed, or any instrument upon which false information concerning ownership or date or place of purchase has been given, or any damage resulting from misuse, modification in any way, abuse, improper care, negligence, shipping damages, or accidents.

NORTH BRIDGE COMMITMENT

If at any time during the period of warranty coverage, this instrument malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, North Bridge will repair the defect(s) or replace the instrument, as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. North Bridge reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. If replacement of your instrument is deemed appropriate by our staff, North Bridge will replace the instrument with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of your instrument. Any insurance covering the instrument, including but not limited to collector's value insurance, must be carried by owner at owner's expense.

NORTH BRIDGE MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEEDING THE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND/OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO THAT THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL NORTH BRIDGE BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES WHICH EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE INSTRUMENT.

NORTH BRIDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INSTRUMENT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, EVEN IF NORTH BRIDGE OR ITS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND NORTH BRIDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, CLAIMS, OR SUITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY OF THE FOREGOING.

WARRANTY PROCEDURES

If the instrument malfunctions or is defective in workmanship and/or materials, you must contact your local authorized North Bridge dealer and request that they contact North Bridge to request a Return Authorization Form. Owner must provide upon such request: (1) a copy of the sales receipt/proof of purchase, (2) a complete written description of the malfunction of the instrument, and (3) Owner’s name, address, email, and phone number. Upon receipt of a Return Authorization Form, the Dealer or Owner must ship the instrument to North Bridge, freight and insurance pre-paid. Following its inspection of an instrument upon its arrival, North Bridge will advise you or your dealer of the action to be taken and approximate date of completion. The repaired instrument will be returned to you or your dealer, freight collect insured. Only North Bridge may perform warranty service and any service performed by unauthorized persons will void this warranty. North Bridge disclaims liability for defects or damage caused by services performed by unauthorized persons or non-warranty service not performed by North Bridge.

Rights Under State Law:

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This is the only express warranty applicable to the product specified herein. North Bridge neither assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other express warranty.
